Time For Another Post!

In all honesty, I had forgotten about this blog until I looked way down at the bottom of my bookmarked pages (maybe a sign of advanced years?!). Upon seeing it, I thought that it is probably time to revive it and add a new thought or two. But, in all honesty, it will likely be another verse of the same song- the church needs to repent before the throne of God and seek the Lord for a mighty Spiritual renewal to sweep across our land! I don't use the term "revival" because it has been reinterpreted to mean strange and weird things that have no basis in Scripture. It seems that the call to repentance has never been a popular message. It doesn't garner ratings, so there is no television market for it. Churches that are blessed with a pastor who speaks a bold, prophetic message are avoided by the masses. So, as in Biblical days, the word of God for this generation is one that echoes out of the wilderness. But those who have a heart for God will hear, and heed, His word! There is a holy remnant that is heart broken over the worldly mess that passes for the church in America today. There are those who pray, weep and proclaim His call to holiness in this hour- but it seems to fall on deaf ears! When all is said and done, it will be shown that the Lord means exactly what He says in His word! He has promised to be Lord and Savior to those who will come out of the corrupt system of the world- even if it calls itself a church- and will be engaged in His business, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Remember, only eight were saved in Noah's day! Many are called, few are chosen! Will you be one of the few?
